Hire marketing managers in Kaduna
Hiring marketing managers in Kaduna, Kaduna State in 2026 - what the local market looks like, what to budget, and where to find strong candidates without wading through 300 CVs.
The Kaduna marketing manager market
Kaduna's tech scene is younger and smaller, with growth concentrated around the universities (Ahmadu Bello University in nearby Zaria, Kaduna State University). Remote roles for Lagos or international companies are increasingly common among Kaduna-based engineers. The cost-of-living differential is meaningful; expect Kaduna candidates to negotiate base salary more than perks.
Marketing manager roles in Nigerian tech vary wildly - from full-stack solo marketers running everything for an early-stage startup to brand-only leads at established companies. The strongest candidates can do both demand generation (paid, content, SEO, email) and brand (positioning, messaging, design oversight) without needing to specialize. For SMBs hiring their first marketer, the trap is hiring a brand specialist who can't measure pipeline; invert this in interviews by asking how they'd report on marketing's contribution to revenue in the first 90 days.
